Complaints towards Eu Member states

Between 2014 and 2019, just three countries were the subject of more than one third of complaints: Italy (15,41 percent), Spain (12,59 percent) and France (8,26 percent).

Infringements may be detected by the Commission’s own investigations or brought to its attention by complaints or petitions from members of the public, businesses, NGOs or other organisations.
