Variation in resolution rate

Overall, on the European level, the resolution rate has increased by 2 percent from 2014 to 2019, passing from 75 to 77 percent. Forty percent of EU countries saw their resolution rate worsen over the last five years: Latvia above all, whose resolution rate fell from 89 to 50 percent, a drop of 43,82 percent.

The resolution rate is the percentage of EU Pilot cases handled by the Commission where the member states’ responses are deemed satisfactory.
